Since 2017 Professor for Computer Science and Visualization in Architecture at the University of Applied Sciences Mainz.
Since 2002 specializing in the field of digital hypothetical 3D reconstruction and exhibition design.
Since 2005 research and teaching experience in the unit »Information and communication technology in architecture« (Prof. Manfred Koob, † 2011) at the Darmstadt University of Technology (Ph.D. in 2010), inter alia digital 3D reconstruction of the Moscow Kremlin (Russia), St. Peter cathedral in Rom (Vatican), the medieval Vratislavia (Poland).
Since 2010 lecturer in the unit »CAD in Architecture« at the Warsaw University of Technology and in the unit »Digital Design« at the Darmstadt University of Technology.
Since 2013 scientific member of staff and project coordinator at the Herder Institute for Historical Research on East Central Europe – Institute of the Leibniz Association. Founder and convenor of the working group »Digital Reconstruction« of »Digital Humanities in German-speaking region« association. Scientific focus on »Virtual Research Environment«, semantic data modelling, CAD/BIM, 3D modelling, documentation and visualisation standards for digital 3D reconstruction of cultural heritage.
